Have you ever thought of getting your documents/files/folders that are have stored in the web, immediately on your mobile phone whenever required? This however sounds odd to think off, as it would be highly difficult in getting this work. But just change your mindset. Software giant Microsoft is all set to launch its next service that will allow mobile users that has windows installed, get synchronized to the Web. This service named as My Phone, will provide a secured place to store/access all your files/data/songs/video/images/calendar entries. This in turn allows other Web users to share this data. To start with, Microsoft has launched the homepage of My Phone.
Microsoft has already launched a service, which is more or less the same as My Phone, called Live Mesh that lets millions of people upload images and data to a web page and then access the same from their mobile phones. But the upgrade and advantage that My Phone has got over the Live Mesh is that, My Phone synchronizes automatically a wide range of information from your mobiles. Also, My Phone will allow a limited access to all those who have got Window mobiles 6 OS installed in their phone whereas Live Mesh would allow access of data to anyone who has a phone and a browser installed.
A spokesman from Microsoft said that, Microsoft would reveal more specific details on My Phone at the Mobile World Congress trade show that will be organized in middle of February, and that this facility would be available limited as it is a beta version to start with.
