Everyone across the globe is eagerly waiting for Feb 22. Yes! The gala day when the Oscar awards will be thrown out to the world. A number of artists across the globe are getting ready to enter the star night though they are not nominated, yet to see their stars getting the awards. A R Rehman the Oscar nominated, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ is not an exception too. With 10 nominations for this film, the big shots are getting ready deciding upon their attire for the night gala event.

Sources say that Rehman has packed his bags for the night and has a variety of options to wear suggested by stylist Vijayeta Kumar for him and for his wife too. Though the bag contains the outfits from Rohit Bal, yet it also carries a Lanvin and an Armani Tux, perhaps with a Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s creation too. Rohit Bal suggested for a silhouette that is lean to Rehman with a tapered bandhgala and slim pants in black color. The collars and the cuffs of this attire would be ornated with tonal beads to give a red carpet touching. Alternatively, Sabyasachi, a fashion designer has given a set of clothes for Rehman and his wife Saira to wear during the big night. Another designer from Kolkata has also designed a Kashmiri-kantha black colored kurta with Aligarhi pyjamas for Rahman, and for his wife Saira a body-contoured kurta and a dupatta that is an antique collection.
